Neuro: A/Ox4, numbness/tingling in BLE CV: S1/S2, good radial pulses, +1 pedal pulses Resp: clear over diminished lung sounds GI/GU: +BS (bowel sounds), continent of bowel and bladder MS: +4 strength BUE/RLE, +3 LLE, uses cane to ambulate, sometimes 1x assist in the morning Psych/Social: widowed, family out of state, video chats frequently, recently started on insulin because likes to eat sweets family sends in the mail, and doesn’t like needles Other: skin intact other than LLE heel ulcer, has appt to see podiatrist in 1 week, has been open with moderate weeping for past week. Using soap and water to cleanse and covering with gauze twice daily and as needed till further orders. Doesn’t like wearing shoes because of neuropathy.Â
