Hi i need help with making a quick guide reference using DENTRIX. i am a dental assisting student.

Design the layout of your QRG –
Include information on each of the following
Step by Step Guide on how to :
make a New Family File (using yourself as an example)
Include all information that is required within the family file.
How to add in a medical alert.  (Latex Allergy)  
Internet resources https://www.dentrix.com/help/desktop/Dentrix_overview.htm
Step by Step Guide on how to book a patients appointment including the following:
Patients Name (use your name)
Linking treatment to the appointment. (Recall Exam, 1 unit of polish, 1 unit scale, 2 bitewing x-rays. 

 

 

 

 

Step by Step Guide on how to change the dental chart from adult to primary dentition including the following:
Step by step instructions on how to change the dental chart from adult to primary dentition
Step by step instructions on how to chart a mixed dentition
Step by step instructions on how to chart missing teeth.

 

 

Step by step guide on how to:
Enter treatment into the patient’s ledger (Recall Exam, 1 unit of polish, 1 unit scale, 2 bitewing x-rays
How to correct a wrong code that is entered incorrectly into the patient’s ledger.
How to set full an appointment.

 

Select a software program which suits your layout; for example you may use: Office Word, PowerPoint, Office Publisher or any other software program which can produce a quick reference guide that can be used in the dental clinic.  The Guide should be able to fit plastic page protectors.
Include illustrations or photos, diagrams, flow charts, etc
