You are observing a dining room to make an audit. You noticed that a Resident is refusing to eat a food that the PSW is trying to provide. The PSW states to the Resident that must eat this food as it is order for them by the Dietitian and ignores the Resident’s wishes by forcing the Res to eat this item. What Resident’s right has the PSW violated? 1. Every resident has the right to be properly sheltered, fed, clothed, groomed and cared for in a manner consistent with his or her needs. 2. Every resident who is dying or who is very ill has the right to have family and friends present 24 hours a day. 3. give or refuse consent to treatment, care or services for which consent is required by law and to be informed of the consequences of giving or refusing consent; 4. no rights were violated as the Resident was order this food item by the Dietitian.
