-the patient with bleeding just had a cardiac cath with a puncture site in their R femoral artery for the procedure. The patient’s femoral dressing is saturated with frank bleeding with blood on the linens larger than a basketball and acitve, frank bleeding visible. The patient is cold/clammy and has altered LOC with vital signs 80/42 HR 148, resp 22. Anyone think this this patient might be a high priority? thoughts/comments?
