Question: Pathology Report Specimen: Uterine Curetting Diagnosis: Incomplete spontaneous abortion Gross Description: Shaggy gray-red friable bits of soft tissue and mixed blood clot totaling 1.5ml. Entire specimen for histologic study. Microscopic Description: Straight glandular elements occur in compact cellular stroma. Here and there disrupted segments of blood clot occur. Further present is a segment of compact fibrous tissue with scattered varying in size cystically dilated glands. This is consistent with proliferative phase endometrium.
