Scenario 35-year-old female, requiring analgesics for her migraine Presentation to A&E Lesley Hanks is a 35 year old woman who has been referred to the community health nurse after discharge from the ED. Lesley presented to the ED after requiring analgesics for her migraine Obs: Weight 78kg, height 1.65M PMHx: 3 year history of migraines, frequency of one -two per month, and seem to be triggered by sleep deprivation and stress. The migraines include visual auras which precede the headache. No other history Recent MHx: Yesterday presented to ED with 24 hour history of unilateral severe throbbing headache, photophobia, nausea and vomiting. Social Hx: Single mother of two children (Josie and Wilma, 2 and 4 years).NOK: Anne (sister) Occupation : registered nurs
