You are a Family Nurse Practitioner working in the fast track section of an Emergency Department. Your patient is a 21-year-old female who is complaining of left lower abdominal pain that began 3 days ago and the pain is getting progressively worse. She reports that pain as 2/10, crampy, intermittent and increases with movement. She has no PMH, no history of surgeries, takes no medications and reports being healthy. She is sexually active in a monogamous relationship, uses condoms for contraception and her LMP was 5 weeks ago. She denies dysuria. She denies vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, vaginal itching and odor. She reports nausea and breast tenderness. Describe your evaluation and plan of care for this patient. List your differential diagnoses.
