A 27-year-old female reports significant right arm pain. She is postpartum with a toddler at home. The toddler is very clingy. The 8-week-old is breastfeeding and slings to keep calm. Over the past 4 weeks, the right arm is more tender and painful to lift over the head. Sometimes it is hard to brush her hair. She is now using a pillow to help support the baby while breastfeeding. The baby is thriving and gaining weight. When the baby is not in her arms, the toddler is asking to be held. Thank God for a hip to perch the toddler on.
